Best Acts EVENTS & BAR SERVICE

We have worked alongside wedding clients, businesses, charity organisations, corporations and festivals over the years in order to supply bespoke entertainment packages tailor made for their needs. From arranging entertainment for weddings and indoor events to booking a live entertainment stage for outdoor events and festivals, Best Acts Events can meet your needs and requirements, whether for 10 or 10,000 people. 

We are also licensed to provide a bar service at non licensed premises. Ideal if you are booking a wedding in a non-licensed premises, or looking to host your own event in a community hall, church hall, marquee or unlicensed building. This service is available with or without our events service. Suitable for your own events, fundraisers, birthday parties, engagement parties, outdoor events, charity events, anniversaries or any other celebration, where a bar is not available.

New for 2024 - Best Acts produce and promote shows for the general public in theatres and live entertainment venues. Forthcoming Best Acts events will be listed on this page as well as the "WHAT'S ON?" section of our website, along with ticket information.

West Dunbartonshire Christmas Lights Switch On

Best Acts were hired by West Dunbartonshire Leisure on behalf of West Dunbartonshire Council for the second year running in 2019, to arrange the entertainment and host the live stage at both Alexandria and Dumbarton’s Christmas Lights Switch On. Hosted by local entertainer and presenter James Smart, from BBC Scotland’s Viva Variety and BBC1’s prime time Pitch Battle Music Show. James has introduced amazing acts to both audiences over the jam packed weekend including ScotSoul, Richie Hagan as Rod Stewart, Mr Onkel, Movie Magic, Boyband sensation ‘Just the Brave’, fABBAlous and Scottish showbiz legend Christian, amongst many more, as well as presenting a variety of interactive quiz shows, orchestrating Christmas sing-a-longs, interacting with the audience and counting down to the big light switch on.

Theatre Shows

Best Acts Events are responsible for producing theatre shows with tickets available to the general public. We regularly produce shows at the Denny Civic Theatre in Dumbarton. Forthcoming theatre shows will be announced below along with ticket information.
