The Bag Rockers' five piece band features the zany, pink mohawked frontman/guitarist Gregor "G-Man" James who, for four years, zoomed around the world as guitarist/frontman in the original line-up of The Red Hot Chilli Pipers. Along with Gregor the band consists of two grade one professional pipers and completing the five piece are two female professional acrobatic dancers, adding that little bit of Scottish spice to the shindig !
The band regularly perform without the dancers should the client so wish, but the show remains the same - a lively set of up to 40 minutes.
Conferences, annual dinners, company presentations, office openings, festivals, birthday parties, all corporate and local authority events - in fact anywhere there is a need to put a smile on people's faces - that's where you need The Bag Rockers !
Weddings are a speciality of the band, generally as a 3 piece act plus our sound engineer. The format can vary from a surprise guest appearance to the provision of the whole day's entertainment. Piping meet and greet and top table pipe-ins along with The Bag Rockers' standard set ....then the G-Man's DJing to the specific musical choice of the client, including an hilarious Ceilidh slot with the G-Man doing the calling !
